CAIR Help Desk

In the interest of addressing CAIR2 user issues more efficiently, the CAIR Help Desk has discontinued voicemails for the time being.  Follow the guidance below to get the quickest response to your questions/issues.

Issue What to Do

Accessing CAIR2

  • Logging in
  • School staff not seeing “School Access” in menu
  • Linking account to a partner organization


Forgot password after logging in, setting up new password, and answering security questions Cick on the “Forgot Password?” button.
Patient is missing info
  • Login to CAIR1 using old username and password to view record (all users will have temporary read-only access). Feel free to enter any missing doses into CAIR2.
  • Notify help desk by email
  • We are not merging duplicate records at this time.
Inventory is missing or incorrect Report missing inventory to and see CAIR2 Tips on how to make adjustments.
Need to add new users or shot givers

Submit changes at Account Update. Requests may take 2 weeks to process.

More complicated problems Call the Help Desk 800-578-7889. (We have disconnected our voicemail in order to respond to your questions more quickly. If you can’t get through, please try again.)


CAIR New Enrollment will also re-open soon, allowing new sites to register.  Until further notice, the New Enrollment process will also need to be performed manually so sites will need to be patient since the process could take 1-2 months.

If you are a new site that will submit data electronically, register at the CAIR IZ Portal.



Please note: The CAIR Help Desk is no longer processing paper forms for registering new Organizations or new Sites. Please register new Organizations or additional Sites within your Organization at the CAIR New Enrollment page. If you are an Organization that plans to submit immunization data to CAIR electronically and has no need to access CAIR, register instead at the CDPH Gateway/IZ Portal. If you are an existing CAIR Organization or Site, and you would like to Add New Users, Change User Status, Add or Inactive ‘Shotgiver Only’ staff, or transfer existing CAIR users to a new site, complete the Account Update online.
