The California Immunization Registry (CAIR2) is a secure, confidential, statewide computerized immunization information system for California residents.

Help Desk Hours

Please note the CAIR HelpDesk team will be in training from 8:30 am–12 noon starting Monday May 19th–Friday June 13th. During this time phone support will not be available until 1 pm. Please submit an account update or email us at CAIRHelpDesk@cdph.ca.gov. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our services.

The School and Childcare Roster Lookup (SCRL)
is available!

The SCRL tool quickly returns the immunization status for individual students or multiple students on your roster found in the California Immunization Registry (CAIR), using Requirements for Pre-K (PDF) or Requirements for K–12th Grade (PDF) immunization requirements. You can easily see which students are up to date or behind on their immunizations. Learn more about what the SCRL tool is from these ā€ÆModule Facts and FAQs  and register at the  CAIR Hub site. Please email CAIRHub@cdph.ca.gov for SCRL assistance.  ā€‹ā€‹ā€‹

CAIR2 School User Access

ā€œRead-Onlyā€ access to CAIR2 is also available for schools and child care sites. If your school helps notify families of other recommended vaccines besides those required by law, ā€œRead-Onlyā€ access to CAIR2 is a good option for you in addition to SCRL. ā€‹ā€‹

Requirement to Submit Immunization Data to a California Registry

AB 1797 (Akilah Weber, 2022), a California bill effective January 1, 2023, requires providers to enter immunizations they administer as well as a patient’s race and ethnicity into a California immunization registry (CAIR or RIDE/Healthy Futures). Please see ā€œEnroll in CAIR2ā€ below to enroll today. For additional information, see the AB 1797 Immunization Registry FAQs.
